Hello I have a daughter and a son who both have asthma. I recently have been giving my daughter the chewable tablets and we love them. However they only come in one flavor the purple/ grape and my daughter isn't a fan. I also ask is it possible to make them dye free. I feel the medicine would be tolerated better and maybe absorbed faster. Sincerely a dedicated mom who loves the benadryl products.

All of my kids prefer the chewable over the liquid form. Please stop making kids medicine with dyes in it. If this was dye free then I would have given it a perfect rating. There’s no need for the dyes. Just get rid of them.

Good product, but please make it without the dye. Children don't care what color it is, they just want to feel better. It is sickening to see the ingredients. You can do better.

Bottom line this product is great, it does what it is intended to do. My only complaint is that it does not come in dye free. I need to carry this product with me at all times along with an epi pen. My son will instantly vomit if I were to give him the liquid form of the dye free Benadryl, not to mention the chewable pills are a lot more convenient. At the end of the day we know what the research shows about food dyes. Step up and stop making purple pills - We are the adults, we know better. Our children trust us. Do the right thing and stop putting dye in the chewable Benadryl. Thank you!

The product works and is easily chewed but my kids can't stand the grape flavor. I have to give it with a lot of peanut butter to get them to take it. My biggest gripe is that the manufacturer puts artificial dyes in a product that's meant for kids! Artificial food dyes should be avoided as much as possible in kids. They can exacerbate conditions frequently seen in kids such as attention deficit. While I appreciate that Benadryl has a bubble gum flavored liquid version that's dye free, it would be nice if they could make their chewable tablets dye free also. ( The bubble gum flavored liquid version has an unpleasant bitter after taste which the chewable tablets don't have.) Zyrtec makes a citrus flavored chewable tablet that's dye free. If they can do it, then so can Benadryl.

Impossible to get tablets out of blister pack

Review Text:
You're supposed to fold the corner tab and the peel the package open, which is difficult enough to do, but when the corner breaks off, as it does 50% of the time, it becomes completely impossible to get the tablet out. The other three corners do not work, there's no way to get a fingernail in between to pry it open, and scissors just turn the square into a circle, but the tablet is still encased in plastic. Who thinks up things like this?

Good product, but is it gluten free?

Of course Benadryl does what it’s supposed to. It makes my kid feel better. But it’s pretty bad that you don’t have allergy information on it. I have to rely on a web search and some strangers when Im trying to find out if it’s gluten free at 9pm on a Sunday. I didn’t realize during regular work hours that my daughter with celiac disease would develop hives. This is a problem across many medication manufacturers, but especially disappointing to have a hard time finding allergy info on an allergy med.
